Symphony, Ramon Inc.'s second album, released in December 2021, is an ambitious work composed of twelve sequentially numbered tracks (I to XII), each lasting approximately 2:00 to 4:41—creating a fragmented yet ordered sonic narrative that traverses distinct and contrasting atmospheres.

Although the Qobuz platform classifies the album as Hip-Hop/Rap, the sonic aesthetic revealed in the tracks suggests a hybrid approach: it fuses hip-hop beats and samples with quasi-symphonic arrangements, electronic pads, and cinematic textures. There is a clear emphasis on experimentation and introspective moods, blending genres such as experimental hip-hop, electronic ambient, and indie electronic.

Each composition seems to function like a movement in a modern orchestral work, but developed in a digital studio: restrained and cadenced rhythms, programmed percussion, atmospheric synthesizers, and occasional use of vocals or vocal samples that emerge as contrasting elements, generating emotional tension and spatiality.

The sequence of tracks reflects a dramatic progression: from the more restrained introductions of "Symphony I" to the more expansive moments of the second half, especially in "Symphony VIII" (around 4:09) and "Symphony IX" (4:41), which broaden the sonic and emotional spectrum. The album doesn't follow the traditional pop logic of choruses and hooks—it's a continuous, intimate, and cinematic experience.

In terms of meaning, Symphony represented a stage of creative maturity for Ramon Inc., delivering to the public a cohesive yet fragmented work that reflects their ambition to explore territories of electronic musicality and sonic narrative without relying on the single hit format. It's a project that positions itself between experimental underground hip hop and introspective electronica, ideal for reflective listening.

Symphony is more than an album—it's a symphony in twelve digital acts, an emotional architecture built with beats, textures, and silence.
It's music that breathes in the interludes of rhythm—introspective, disruptive, essential.

Cabaret Nocturne_Wrong Tragedy (Undo Rmx)

The cosmic-pop french producer Sofian Rouge comes back a few month after the release of his "Floating" mini-album with this remix EP on Global Warming Records. First, one of our favorite italian dj and producer Fabrizio Mammarella (head of Slow Motion Records and of mysterious disco-influenced electronic projects as Telespacio or Black Spuma) gave us a killer slow and dark version of « Starglazer », shaped for cold nights, obscure sets and sweaty clubs. Same track choice to remix for JMII, spanish producer discovered on John Talabot’s Hivern Discs crew. He brings us to his own universe with deep synths and analog house with this remix that sounds like a soundtrack to space-travel. And as bonus we have a dub version of Cylene 8 by Sofian himself.

The blood pumped rapidly around his aching body. He had never expected to come under attack on the battlefield in such a way, so fierce, so heavy, so caustic. His cardiogram read a series of information which he did not understand or follow. Why would he have ever expected to be the one to end up in a hospital bed? He was the hottest in the ring, the champion of the desert and a perilous fighter. Except, now he felt small, weak and insignificant. What would the others say?

It's A Fine Line is the duo made up of Ivan Smagghe and Tim Paris. Last year they released their album on Kill The DJ, now they are remixed by a series of associated producers on a new EP. "cardiogram" is the track in question and it has been re-imagined by the likes of Dollkraut and Factory Floor.
