The Delsin c-series welcomes Sawlin for a new EP that finds him in a housier mood than you might expect. After EPs on Ann Aimee, Vault Series and Code Is Law, he has become known as a techno producer, but this proves he can do much more. 

Opener 'Motion Keeper' is a deep underground affair with swirling pads adding scale to the heavy, churning drums. It's soaked in ethereal pads and will suck you right in when played on a large sound system. 'Easiness Supplier' gets a little more trippy, with mastery synth droplets dancing about above busted, frazzled drum loops. It's edgy and tense builds to a seriously weighty groove over time. Last of all, 'Wired Evening' is a dark, gritty dubbed out house cut with snaking hi hats, gurgling synths and menace in the air. This is shadowy and physical house music at its finest.

Cosmic Force returns to Something Happening Somewhere for an all-out ghetto affair in collaboration with the mighty Dexter. Four relentless and unpretentious dance floor cuts with a high energy high fun(k) factor. It’s as high of a dose of the magical alchemy between man and derailing machines as you can find. Every second of this record feels like entering an unknown dangerous zone, blink once and someone could sweep out the motherboard beneath you and turn everything inside out. A robot’s brain disintegrating while you’re still plugged inside racing through it as everything slowly falls apart, without the safety programs to protect you. The great digital escape part II.

Drum Techniek is like taking a LCD drumbeat mixed in a blender with some vitalising capacitor hallucinogens. If the undeniable groove of the first one and a half minute isn’t enough, a jaw shattering bass line creates even more bad ass vigour. Geheugen Meuk’s unstoppable energy train is fuelled by a hypnotising stomping bass line that is intersected by warbled dystopian chords. Lost in the transistor mind, the memory chip slowly starts emitting smoke and shape shifts beyond the point of recognition. Leaving the gates open for uncontrollable off script imagination to reign.

Sloppenwijkkont takes the same approach as Geheugen Meuk but adds a more defined West Coast flavour. Baslijn In Opstand does exactly what it says on the can, like the electronic music interface decided to stop obeying and took over the controls to produce the music it favours. All this music is not for the faint hearted but will prove an incredible addition to anyones dance floor arsenal for those moments which need some extra psycholetric firepower.

Warmly welcoming Gacha Bakradze on Horoom, we share the work of a Georgian artist that has gained international recognition in the past years.  Opening with „Elevate“ the track stays true to its name: elevating melodies guiding through a jungle of beats. In a time where harder is better, Gacha Bakradze elegantly suggests a more minimalistic approach to the sound of electronic music. While „Toulouse“ blends darker streams with aquatic hope, „Employee“ enjoys a big drop in the middle, just to continue on a more melodic note. Well crafted music through and through, this EP combines the flavours of different genres without bending them.

Properly reflecting the music he has been DJ'ing out recently, these are two high energy drum workouts that can go straight in the bag. One Eye is an electro based melodic builder, while Nerve Centers is heavily inspired by a more international Drum sound, forwarded by producers such as Noire, NKC, Ahadadream, Principe crew etc.
