New York based DJ/producer Auspex opens the compilation with the tough yet spacial Sediment that balances driving techno with driving and hypnotic elements. Next up, The hard hitting pairing of DolbyD & MarAxe drop Comabt Kalimba that wastes no time in upping the pace. Seelen Records head, JANEIN, drops the deep and trippy Beskar that delivers on high quality sound design and deep end sonics. Another perfect pairing of Elyas & Anta bring the jack with Bipping, a funked up and rhythmic classic techno sound. Ket Robinson debuts his new alias, Rey Brennan to close out Vol. 8 as My Brain Is Mush balances fast paced, carefully crafted rhythmic structures perfectly.

There are artists who seem to be touched by a magical wand, displaying a supernatural talent for music at both an artistic and technical level from a very young age, and Schrzø is undoubtedly one of them. Despite his astonishing youth, this versatile producer stands as a cornerstone in the Valencia electronic scene. Not only is he an artist, but he also serves as a teacher of production, recording, mixing, and mastering, imparting his knowledge to dozens of students each year.

Schrzø has been integral to Gordo Trax since its inception, acting as the mastermind behind the majority of releases. Now, he finally makes his debut as an artist with an EP that impeccably defines his unique sound.

In "Ecuación del Movimiento," you'll encounter modular, robust, and detailed Techno, marked by its originality and a departure from conventional formulas. Schrzø elevates his music in a complex manner, crafting a distinctive sound that bears little resemblance to the forgettable, standard tools often heard in clubs. Each track embarks on a different adventure, steering clear of repetitions or shortcuts; it's a testament to pure talent and dedicated effort.

Alongside the five original tracks, we find the powerful remix by the Argentine Michel Lauriola, who arrives at Gordo Trax at the zenith of his career, delivering a dance floor bomb that adds another dimension to the EP.

Hamburg based producer Hatzler’s EP is crafted to keep the dancefloor moving, with two original tracks and two remixes. ‘SkyT’ unfolds with a rolling groove that ascends abruptly into a throbbing, trance-inducing piece peppered with cavernous synth pads. ‘KreaT’ lays down hard hitting thumps from the get-go, doling out an undulating synth with whirring atmospherics. It’s these whirs that end up combining harmoniously with the swirling synth hook, leading to a highly anticipated peak time release. For his ‘SkyT’ remix, Sian amps up the theatrics, giving the track a dramatic dimension by infusing it with spacious reverb. Where Sian went down a more theatrical avenue, Ruiz plays down the emotion.  Victor Ruiz’ take on ‘SkyT’ is a more stripped down approach, minimizing the elements and keeping the focus on the rolling bassline.
