Born and raised in the middle of nowhere - in south of Italy - VENZEL began early to consider music as his escapism and his weapon of communication.

Since 2012 he spends many nights in discovering soul-techno at IL SUONO events and gets a kind of morbid devotion for music as result.

His track selection goes beyond to pure aesthetics; V's goal is to building sound stories with a musical logic.
From dub to industrial techno, through breakbeat and acid house; from old-fashioned electronic classics to latest fresh releases, VENZEL takes your mind out for a walk - in the space.

Drawing inspiration from and paying homage to the late 90s/ early 2000s golden era, Laura’s sonic imprint is vast but one thing is for certain: it evokes a powerful visceral response from the listener that stimulates them both intellectually and somatically, propelling them think deeper and feel something different. Classic, retro components blend with forward-thinking concepts to create a notable audio blend that is simultaneously futuristic and nostalgic; abstract but concrete. Sometimes euphoric and cinematic; sometimes dark and sensual – always groovy and unique. She aims to create a spiritual reprieve on the dancefloor – a safe haven where dancers feel liberated from the suffering of the default world and free to be their fullest selves. She layers funk-laced electro riffs, visceral atmospheric moving pads, permeating sub-lows, eerie 303 basslines, and hypnotically intricate percussive rhythms that in her eyes, symbolize the expansive scope of the human experience. 

With respected releases on Sunday Sessions LA, Honne Music, Yoon, Gliese Records, and more, Laura has established a mainstay presence throughout southern and Baja California. As a DJ, her sets are known for her smooth, warm, methodical blends and her ability to engage listeners with astute track presentation and unique storylines. She continually pushes boundaries with her distinctive musical approach and meticulously crafted production work.
