After a bit of a hiatus due to travels spreading the sound of tomorrow globally, we are back with the 10th installation of our White Label Series with a feel good project from our boy J-Louis.

This installment of our White Label Series comes from 21 year old LA-based producer and drummer, J Louis. You may remember Mr. Louis as the resourceful young man who experimented with beatmaking on his iPhone in the past. This time, he's been working with Ableton and other music creation programs to develop his signature sound further.

This White Label series sees J-Louis moving a into some more uptempo and housey vibes while still keeping his signature bass heavy sound intact.

SWL010 has J-Louis remixing rising vocalist @rachelfoxx in the "Before You" jam, sampling Raphael Saadiq & Teedra Moses Ft. Corey Tinay's "I Want You Back" in "Can't You See" and collaborating with dope producer, @orijanus on "Hot N Ready".

Our good Russian friend returned with a massive track! Nikita Great’s new track is called “My Love” and this track is a special one. Filled with sweet deep melodies this tracks takes you on a true journey. Interesting to know is that Nikita Great first started with this project 4 years ago, but finally finished the project recently. The end result was worth the wait, in our opinion. The first remix comes from the Serbian based artist called Deepsy who created a groovy deep house version, complimented with some smooth saxophone sounds. Finally we have a Re-Edit by Prune Flat.

Just as the non-believers think they know what to expect from these two they’ve thrown a rather large curveball and headed down a different road. Figure Of Speech wears some African influences on its sleeve with a bumping party groove punctuated by some nifty
afro beat keys stabs and just a hint of acid. Victoria’s Secret
treads more familiar Detroit Swindle territory with the boys trademark shuffling beats and larger-than-life side-chained pads bringing the drama. Finally, we have suitably titled Live At The Cosmic Carnival where we’re treated to some peaktime tribal business with rolling bass, dubbed out dancehall science and some nifty conga work. All in all, some fiyah for the dancefloor from a pair of lads who know a thing or two about how to get a room jumping.

After Carlos Nilmmns enthralled us with his expressive True Chemistry EP, Circus Company is delighted to welcome a new character into the fold in the form of fast-rising German artist Borrowed Identity. Based in the Southern town of Freiburg im Breisgau, in just a few years he has already released scores of singles for labels as respected as Quintessentials, Fina, Home Taping Is Killing Music and Mistress.

The Borrowed Identity sound is direct and uncomplicated, using classic house and techno styles and applying them to dynamic arrangements that showcase a confident set of studio skills and a deep understanding of what excites the expectant dancer.
