Cloud Construct

On May 3, 2021, Ross Garren and Erik Miron released their debut self-titled album, "Magnetic Vines". The pair described it as "a soundtrack for tending rooftop gardens by moonlight". I was immediately immersed in the album from my first listen. Often guitar or piano-led pieces, the album marries folk and ambient music in such a gentle and whimsical way, it feels like somehow listening to the most beautiful memories of a cowboy traveling the wild west. Upon my first listen, I immediately felt a connection to my home back on the Texas plains, imagining a quiet night sitting in an open field, lit by a sky full of stars, the grass gently blowing in the breeze. More than anything, I felt this release did that magically special thing that music can sometimes do: take you, for a moment, away from reality, and into a place that makes you appreciate your own experience and the world around you in a new way. What a beautiful feeling to close your eyes and let your imagination take you to some place deeply embedded in your memories - or perhaps your dreams. I am so grateful to have this piece of music in my life, and look forward to experiencing many more beautiful moments with it in the future.

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of this masterpiece, and nine-year anniversary of SVNSET WAVES' formation, I am so excited and fortunate to announce our first ever reissue - and I can't imagine a better collection of music to do it with.

I hope you experience as much beauty within this music as I have. Big thanks to Ross and Erik for letting me be a small part in getting this amazing album to more ears, and of course, for creating music that has made an impact on me.
