Christy Love has always had a love for music and has been immersed in the house music scene for more than 25 years. She is one of the most sought after DJs in NYC, largely because she consistently destroys dance floors all over the city (and beyond) with her distinct sets comprising of a clever mixture of classic and modern house bursting with driving beats and funky bass lines. She plays a pivotal role in defining the current underground sound of New York. This DJ prowess, combined with her production work, both solo and as House of Stank with long time collaborator, W. Jeremy, and the success of their label, Get Up Recordings, has transformed Christy into a house music triple threat.

“I’ve been feeling quite nostalgic lately, given what’s been going on in the world the past few years. I also moved into a new apartment in November of last year and that transition had me going through everything, especially music. I started looking back on what I was playing over a decade ago (the last time I moved) and these were some of my favorites from that time. Listening to these tracks and making this “throwback” mix got me excited for summer and for the hopeful return of many, many great parties”

Club Moment celebrates its 50th episode, inviting Berlin-based Londoner Kenny, aka B.B.K. and local hero BEARCAT. Kenny is the founder of the Black Music Summit and runs the creative agency Taboo, where she’s known for building creative partnerships, curating lineups, and organizing community-driven events. While spending the summer in New York, she’s been soaking up the city’s energy, connecting with its people, and exploring its vibrant soundscape. For this episode, she’s curated a selection spotlighting music by predominantly Black artists and producers.

In the second hour, fellow Londoner and genre-blurring DJ/producer BEARCAT steps in with a special guest mix—bringing their own bold and distinct perspective to the show.

It took me a whole month to come down from the emotional high that was Fusion ! And I can finally share with you the set I had the immense honor and pleasure of playing during the very first sunrise, on Thursday morning.

Your smiles were so beautiful, lit by the first rays of sunlight piercing through the smoke.

It was a moment of pure bliss.

So many people came up to me after the set, telling me that they felt that was exactly the right music at the perfect moment. I can’t even describe how grateful and happy that made me, that the music I shared resonated with you.

Just, thank YOU 🧡 

Fusion is a magical place, which brings thousands of people together around a shared love for music, freedom, and beauty, wrapped in the most dreamlike scenography.

If someone had told me, when I first came to Fusion in 2023, that I’d be invited to play just two years later… I wouldn’t have believed it. A dream come true.

So here it is: the set. As with every one of my sets, I wanted to tell a story — to take the crowd on a emotional journey. This one was meant to guide you from the darker hours of the night toward a radiant, enchanted sunrise. And of course, I wanted us to have some fun ! Hope you enjoy !
