Continuing to add exciting new talent to their roster, Astral Records welcomes Avaddon to label for their debut EP. In between the spiraling melodies and the subtly evolving layers, Avaddon is an example of deeply moving, dark, and emotional electronic music. Hailing from Israel, the duo first emerged in 2022 with a three-track showcase via Us & Them Records. Noted for a sound that utilizes a techno framework, Avaddon often pulls elements from ambient, trance, and even rock music into their productions, resulting in a sonic signature that is undeniably their own. Subsequent releases via Siamese and SIZE, coupled with support from Adriatique would solidify the Tel Aviv residents as a rising force within the world of melodic house and techno. Now, following a contribution to ERRROR's 'WRRONG TRACKS' collection, Avaddon adds Astral to their resume with a two-track showcase 'Hands Up'. 

Title selection ‘Hands Up’ further cements Avaddon’s dancefloor minded ethos with its dynamic drive and swing-heavy cadence. Anchored by rocketing beats and percussive flashes, the journey tastefully builds to a wild-eyed intensity of striking vocal stabs and crystalline designs, carving out a memorable path into the break. With a peak-time energy that exudes spirit, Avaddon pulls from their expansive repertoire as the interlude takes shape, infusing a spirited lead into the mix and psy-influenced design qualities for the ultimate dancefloor rush. 

The release concludes with the enigmatic sounds of ‘Ares’. Tinted with pyrotechnic synths and buzzing stabs, Avaddon’s unique emotionality peaks here, as they craft a super-charged dystopian romance, all while weaving in cerebral manipulations and festival-sized riffs, for what is an unforgettable ride to round out the EP in style.
