The two segments, "Flame" and "Heart" feature an array of spontaneous and joyful field recordings, guitar improvisations and wind-imbued bell performances.

Ladonna - Promise

Celes is an artist based in New York. Her music melds the enigmatic and the technical, traversing uplifting rave performances, crushing drone, synthetic machinations and beyond. She mines hidden, deeply felt emotional territory, capturing and channelling chaotic sensory entities and redirecting them toward a heartstopping emotional release.

Café is her debut Club Paradiso release. The album is a transference of divine energy, bound, distilled and purified. Artificial angels reconstituted from charred selkie matter: strobe haloes, hardcoded virtue sensors, plied and fused mechawings. Brutal cyborgian femininity, a slow-swaying dance on the border of Nothingness and Totality. Café sighs and shimmers like a digital mirage, blissed out and blessed up in equal measure.

Celes - Meet Me At Café

To Become Liquid Again unfolded during a three day residency at Het Bos, Antwerpen in November 2019.

The residency was part of Signaal, a poetry festival that showcased 16 artists who created 8 interdisciplinary performances that were presented on the last day of the festival. 'To become liquid again' was recorded in one take in December 2019 and edited and mixed in March 2021.
