Better late than never. So here´s my sunday afternoon set from Bachblyten´s mainfloor. It´s a quite melodical techno set that was fitting very good in that setting I think.

Bachblyten 2022 -Sunday Afternoon-

For our 61st release we welcome back Berlin resident Quirin to ICONYC with his brand new single 'Dangerous'. His last outing back in August of 2022 was received to high acclaim. With his long-awaited single debut on ICONYC, Quirin delivers a slice of late summer vibes and to lift the mood. 

To open the release, Quirin drops the delightful original mix of 'Dangerous'. A track full of driving vibrancy and late summer vibes, while the arrangement keeps you moving with the energy on offer. 'Dangerous' conveys a club edge with deep stimulated elements, capped off by Quirin's' fantastic production skills. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The groove and melodies are the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow and creating an air of sophistication.

The first remix comes from none other than the legend that is Mathias Schober, the German maestro known for his ultra-polished sound, keeps the ethereal framework of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh – His transcendent touch up takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the drive with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove. Essential stuff from Mathias!

Next up well-known Berlin underground mainstays SoKool & Konrad Dycke, who need no introduction to the well-versed music connoisseur, deliver the second remix.  The duo created a rework full of feel-good vibes from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is key here, as their restrained melodic gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. Classy vibes from SoKool & Konrad Dycke.

With 'Dangerous' Quirin really shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful melodic gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smiles induced moments and instantly lift your mood.
