The Frenchcore is a subgenre very fast paced and proposed, particularly in France. It is characterized by a generally sound "rave" based on a particularly Checkout 'straight' and low on the upbeat. In some cases appears to have influenced industrial hardcore. The rate typically hovers between 170 and 250 BPM.

Hardcore is a type of electronic music that began to emerge in the 90s in the Netherlands; under this term includes several distinctive styles.

Unproven, better known as Stein Bosch (1994) has always been hooked to hardcore. Since his older brother gave him a hardcore CD, he was infected with the hard slamming beats of hardcore. Stein started producing hardcore when he was about 15 and after his 18th birthday, he wanted to be on stage as well. From that moment, things went as fast as 200 BPM.

After setting his goals, Unproven was born. He took producing seriously and created his own style and brand; hard fast beats with euphoric vibes. In 2018 Stein made his first album ‘Fight as Brothers’ which got followed up by ‘Universe of Chaos’ in 2019. Both of the albums represent his unique musical vision that brings diversity to the uptempo scene. With his characteristic style, Unproven already worked his magic at Defqon.1, Intents Festival, Impaqt Festival, Phoenix Festival and many more…

Invidia is a female uptempo/frenchcore producer from the Netherlands. She was born in 1992 and raised in The Hague. She fell in love with hardcore music when she was just 14 years old. Witnessing the scene grow, move, and shift, she loved how the kicks became louder and faster, and she fell in love with the uptempo and frenchcore scene. At the age of 17, she regularly attended festivals and started to notice that artists often played more breaks than kicks. So, at 19, she invested in DJ gear and began teaching herself to create the hardcore music she wanted to hear.  

  

It turned out she had a knack for it, and at 21, she played her first gig at a wedding. Performing in front of a crowd really energized her, when she was 23, she bought her first DAW and started producing her own music. She started with slower music, and two years later, she took a hardcore production lesson. The label boss saw potential in her, and she signed with Hells Recordings, where she released her first EP. She has played at parties such as Glorification, Harder kan toch niet, Gestoord and Hells Basement, and released her music with big labels like Darkside Unleashed, Barbaric Records and Cyndium records. 

  

In 2024, she signed with Cyndium Agency and is now ready for new adventures and opportunities! You’re going to see a lot more from this talented producer and performer in the near future!
