Next up our Origins Tapes series is musician, producer, DJ and label owner Priori who is best known for their beautiful cross-over tracks and mixes and their label NAFF that they run with fellow artist Ex-Terrestial. 

Based and born Quebec and currently based in Montréal , Priori represents the Canadian dance music scene worldwide through both their individual output and their label’s. They have also become known for their technical ability in the studio which has led to them mixing projects for fellow artists such as Rosa Terence, Ex-terrestrial and Gene Tellem.

Priori’s hypnotic soundscapes have meant that they have the ability to create worlds around their audience with both their live shows, live DJ sets and online mixes and we are excited to be welcoming them for our Origins Tapes series.

The first Therapy Dog show of the year on @refugeworldwide is with good friend and favourite radio host @gigstab. jen has been a huge part of the scene here and beyond. i still remember one of my first proper shows at 333 years ago, (iykyk) and seeing her play completely transported me into a different world. hearing techno like that came few and far between for me during those times, and i’ve been a long time fan ever since. now more than a decade later she’s on my show!! full circle moment for sure 💫

if you know her sound you know syncopated rhythms acid grooves and deep immersive dubby basslines. she’s played at festivals like mutek decibel sunwave and beyond alongside some of the best in the game.
