The second EP from The Atom, named "Second to None" is due for release. Almost two years after their debut, "First Deadly Steps" , "Second to None" marks a step towards a more ethereal soundscaping, rest aside not losing track of their trademark sounds; Post-Punk guitars, New Romantic basslines as well as Analog synths. However, new vocalist, Kajsa Olofsson, has provided The Atom with a complete new set of melodic arrangements, managing to open doors to musical influences yet unknown.

With September being Suicide Awareness month it's important to note one of the most startling statistics: LGBTQ teens consider suicide and make suicide attempts at about four times the national rate for all adolescents.

These numbers shed light on the critical importance of suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth.

And it's not getting any better....

With proceeds going to the Trevor Project, which focuses on suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQIA+ we want our friends, fans, loved ones and everyone to know, that we stand with you, we support you and "keep holding on my friend".

Let me start with an apology to all french speaking listeners! I don't speak french and just translated English sentences based on French words that rhyme.

The song is a pastiche (French word!) on the New romantic band Visage.
It was the result of testing the new VST plugin “paralogy64” from Full Bucket Music, “           simulating the paraphonic Crumar Trilogy and Stratus keyboards from the early 1980s”.
