<b>Elliot Rosoff (producer)</b>: “I am primarily a concert violinist and have played on records by people as diverse as Philip Glass, Deodato and LL Cool J. In the early ‘80s, I had a studio, Opal Studios and our engineer Andy Langston did a lot of R&B and disco production - our projects included a disco version of Jesse Green’s "Nice And Slow." On "Ain’t No Way," the singer was a girl called Brenda Watts – she had released a few records beforehand like "Who Needs A Love Like That" but seemed to disappear from music after Opal. I remember that we received great feedback and a lot of club play across New York.” <b>Phil Barr (writer)</b>: “During the ‘70s, Elliot was one of the few people in New York that had a 24-track studio. ‘Ain’t No Way’ had originally been written as a hard rock track - Elliot liked it and we started working on an R&B version of it which he put out on his label, Silver Cloud.”

NITA Dreamland (Skopje, Macedonia)

Nikola Davchev, known as Nita Dreamland, professionally occupied himself with music since 1997 in his hometown Skopje. Taking it step by step he becomes recognized by the style of music progressive house & uplifting trance, but in 2011 he slows down and starts playing deep n disco style. Looking back in his work, he appears in different places all around Macedonia and beyond, famous and well-known clubs, caffe's and beaches, festivals or plays as resident DJ. 

In 2004, Nita becomes part of the first exclusive clubbing radio in Macedonia, known as "Club FM" when he officially started with his weekly podcast "Dreamland Session" .There he got the chance to publish his first mix CD "More Viatmins". After that, because of his passion for the music & sounds, he starts producing and he published his first tune "Jade - Don't walk away (Nita & Nel Ko Bounty Remix)", 2013 year. That was only the beginning of many more to come.

Welcome to EP-153 of the NDYD Radio Show with our first guest mix of the year by non other than Germany's Phonk D.

In the early 90s electronic music grabbed hold of Phonk D. After many nights at clubs in Frankfurt, hundreds of kilograms of collected vinyls, countless DJ-gigs and a remarkable journey into Hip Hop as a producer, the Darmstadt resident founded his label Footjob in 2014. The Footjob sound is somewhere between deep, disco and classic house and finds the approval of well-known scene-heads. 

His second EP released in June 2016 included his most outstanding track up to this day called ‘Midnight Bumper’. The stomping house-banger clinged to the Top 5 Traxsource charts for several weeks and furthermore, Phonk D has been named to the Top 100 House Artists of the Year 2016 by Traxsource.

He debuts on NDYD Records in 2018 with his latest baby,the ‘Disco Goodies’ EP which contains four stellar tracks, each one with a unique twist and made within the last three years. Like wine these creations got better with time.

Pioneer of the musical genre “ANDES HOUSE” and hailing from Quito Ecuador, Carloh is known as the gangster of the Andes.

He was influenced by his uncle and his father who were DJ’s. They taught him to mix turntables and consoles while learning congas and bongos percussion.

He later on Travelled to Europe and fell in love with electronic music and broadened his musical palette and has never looked back since.
