When life gives you lemons...  ...learn to juggle.

At least that's what we did in the summer of 2021, when the window of opportunity opened up for us to organize a small gathering after a year of the pandemic.

We are happy to share sounds from unique Mo:Dem Mutations events.

Mo:Dem Mutations V.1 : from 9 to 15 August 2021 
Mo:Dem Mutations V.2 : from 16 to 22 August 2021

Mo:Dem Mutations V.1 & V.2 took place on the lower part of the Mo:Dem location, on the banks of the Mrežnica river. Mutations were featuring our usual musical program, with a slight alteration. As The Hive stage was closed, visitors were able to witness a unique, once-in-a-modemtime experience of The Hive music concept on The Swamp island. At the same time The Seed featured a blend of The Swamp and The Seed music.

Once again we wish to express our love and gratitude to the friends, family, artists and visitors that supported us during these weird and hard times. Next edition of Mo:Dem Festival is scheduled for 8 - 14 August 2022.

This was the closing set of the Gargantua stage. It was an unforgettable, beautifully transcendent experience for all of us who were there. Our crew was tired after those magical 4 days of joy, and of course: work. This was the moment where we could finally let ourselves go. As our feet & souls rejoiced with Áron and his elegantly crazy psytrance beats of pure love, we could feel that the spirit of Mumush has been unleashed, & it can never be confined again. It was calling to us to join the dance. We did it! And we did it together. This is what we want to share with you.
 
♫ About the artist: As a musician open to all kinds of musical genres, Áron first stumbled upon goa music in 2009. He spent 12 years on the other side of the sound systems until 2020, when he first debuted as a dj. He found a liberating energy source in the psytrance grooves of 2008-2012.

Morpha (Alexander Slonovsky) is a producer and DJ based in Moscow. Since 2021, releases have been released on labels such as Sequencias Temporales, KVLTO, Profundo Collective. He took part in the placement of events and a place, is a resident of the associations Sub Space and Sacred Sound.

Recording music has focused on releasing, immersive responses from the techno genre. All the material was created as a result of crossing ambient with hypnotic electronics. In mixes, he is constantly looking for new development, first of all, it includes surprising himself, expanding and revealing even more the world of atmospheric techno, breaking its boundaries and feeling new emotions. usually co-founder of a young audio-video podcast - Ephemeral.

It’s with immense pleasure that we share a new podcast and this time is dedicated to the founder of xXETEXx: Josephine Wedekind 

Josephine recorded this set live when she was invited to open a small dancefloor at the Arche party in Austria. 

It was such a unique slot for her that she took the opportunity to play a long, immersive journey starting with slow, groovy rhythms and gradually building into faster, hypnotic techno.

However the unusual situation, Josephine is able to always mantain her signature with long-form mixes and masterfully blend organic, dark textures with groovy, driving beats to create immersive music experiences.

Welcome to episode 48 of our TOTM Takeovers, we're stoked to bring you a deliciously tasty session from the one and only @dj-haber

Haber is a Naarm-based producer, DJ, event architect and label head crafting hypnotic, high-pressure soundscapes that dissolve genre boundaries. With over a decade behind the decks, he's moved dancefloors across Naarm and beyond, channeling energy at bush gatherings and festivals like Esoteric, Interstellar Groove, Festival 23, Astralientech and Rainbow Serpent’s Renegade Stage.

His journey has seen international transmissions reaching Tokyo and Seoul, and in 2023, a European adventure led him to Portugal and Norway’s Wicked Wonderland Gathering - connecting with new artists, soaking in fresh inspiration and evolving his craft.

Through his collective @capture-experience and label @imminatia-recordings  Haber uplifts experimental voices from the fringes of electronic music. His own conceptual albums, Manifestation of the Celestial and Dalton Driver in the Land of the Lonesome, dive deep into altered states and layered sonic dimensions. Past releases on Techgnosis, Alpaka Muzik, and Software Zero Music have solidified his place in the underground music realm. Now, with his next full-length album in the works, he's continuing to expand his sonic mythos.

This set is no exception and is jam packed with unreleased tracks, hypnotic textures and driving grooves. A true treat from start to finish.

Capodanna is an Oslo based DJ, and has been a dedicated dancer for as long as she can remember. As an aesthetic voyager she traveled through a vast territory of Electronica's geography before something clicked once she allowed herself to be seduced by the deeper realms of Techno. The visionary soundscapes, the organic flow, the layering and the dynamic balancing of tribalism and futurism - Deep Techno encapsulated all that she was searching for.

Being surrounded by talented and experienced DJ's it was natural for her to take the step towards the art of collecting, selecting, mixing and recording. Capodanna is today a well known face in the Oslo underground, and has shared her love for deep, trippy technoid beats on festivals such as MO:DEM (Croatia), Ometeotl (Mexico) and Soria (Norway).

Much more than a DJ, she is a unifying element of music herself – merging people of different scenes, as the music she plays does exactly that. Even more than 15 years down, for her, this is the most important reason for still loving what she does. A passion, that manifested over the years in psychedelic, hypnotic sets at Berlin's influential locations including Sisyphos and Mensch Meier. She enjoys immersing herself in the electronic and psychedelic vibes playing at the most amazing festivals, such as Mo:Dem as a resident, Boom, Ozora, Masters of Puppets, Waldfrieden and Bucht der Träumer Festival, to name a few favorites. Not only in the founding of the connecting platform xXETEXx, but also in every single event, there is real lifeblood, audible and tangible. Whether you find her in front of or behind the decks.

Typically for Josephine, she simply loves good music - across the boundaries of genre or bpm. Which makes her AYJO project the perfect complementation for her to inspire the crowd with dark experimental over dreamy ambient, dub to liquid drum and bass – yet always with a psychedelic twist. Expect the unexpected! 


She conceives that ‘Music is without borders, unlimited by genre, it’s simply a representation of taste’.
