spawning from the long island hardcore/emo scene kitsune the fox spirit takes his love of those genres and uses them in his brand of hip hop.

“Skeltz” a rapper from the small town of Stafford England embarked upon his music career later than most at the age of 25. He has always loved writing from a young age and unbeknownst to most spent many hours writing short stories as hobby throughout his life. His real passion however is music and he has always wanted to write, sing and perform on stage but always cared too much about what others thought. He didn’t believe he was good enough nor did he believe anything good could happen to someone like him. 
 
In early 2020 however Skeltz decided life is too short to do anything other than what you want and so decided to embark upon his journey and sought the help of his friend and now producer Yishi. Together they compiled a variety of different sounds, tempos and flows all within the confines of the new age “emo rap” genre. Skeltz spent months refining his skills across all areas including vocals and song writing until he finally released his debut single in November 2020 with many many more singles to follow in 2021. 
 
Lyrically many of his songs are extremely real and reflect the troubled childhood and mental health issues that he and members of his family continue to suffer with. Skeltz is able to find solace in music and uses it as a crutch to escape his own demons and the confines of his own mind. He appreciates any support he gains and would encourage anyone to speak out about their issues and find something they love to do as much as he loves music.
