 At the beginning of 2007, he started blending his adoration and familiarity of R&B with his fixation for Rap/Hip-Hop, which allowed him to develop a style that was equal parts Jodeci-inspired R&B with rap, over a variety of sultry, smooth and trap beats.
 Throughout 2008, he and fellow writer/artist kayneIIXIV became habitual collaborators, while sharpening their sound and musical purview. In 2012, they finally put it all together and formed the supergoup II XIV, which included kayneIIXIV's younger brother blueace. Churning out eargasmic singles such as Push, Babymaker, Menage A Trois, and Don't Look Down on their debut project, aptly named II XIV.
 The following year, would see them drop their most commercially successful album to date, The Patrón Effect. With the breakout hit song Zooted as well as bangers Pimp Game, After the Club Close Blues, Nite Trips, One & Only and Nasty all receiving heavy rotation.
 2019 would see them parlay their experience from The Patrón Effect, into what is considered their most critically acclaimed effort to date, II. Equipped with a more mature sound, the evidence is clear on songs like c r u s h, Intoxicated, and OD the trio meant business. But they were still willing to tap into what defined them for nearly a decade on songs such as PST, Savage, Enough, Can't Be Around You, and Wood Grain Grippin.
 The independently issued music from he and his group-mates is just the beginning.
