The A1 track on my brand new Forest Dreams EP, “The Lumberjack’s Call”, laments the woodcutter’s cry for “timber” (or is it saying “deeper”?), stripping a disco-tinged US house groove through a metaphysical sawmill, punctuated by Motor City-inspired synths.

Ghost Recs returns with a naughty 3 tracker by the UK based duo Jive Talk (@jivetalkdjs)- the A-side of which The Ghost have been spinning most gigs since receiving the dubplate cut promo in late 2021. Vids of said tune have created a veritable feeding frenzy in Track ID groups. Speculation of its origins can now be put to rest. It’s new. It’s on their label. And it’s absolutely essential.
