From our record label comes a sonic masterpiece that opens a portal to realms unexplored, pushing the limits of what is possible in the electronic music landscape. "The Portal" EP introduces two tracks that serve as gateways to a sonic dimension crafted by the visionary artist Vertikka. The first composition with precision and innovation, invites you to step through the portal into an alternate reality. Its been a while since I last put together and recorded a mix, so I thought I would make it a bit more Full On then usual. I like progression in my mixes, so as you listen through this, the sounds and styles will get more and more progressively full on! 

The mix has been made from a selection of tracks and artists I have been really enjoying listening to over the last 8 months (see tracklist below). Some fresh off the press, others have been around for a while! PSYCHEDELIC IS A STATE OF MIND.....

Psychedelic Experience is characterised by the striking perception of aspects of one's mind previously unknown, or by the creative capabilities of our sub conscious mind.

We now spend a good deal more on drinking and smoking then we spend on education.

The urge to escape from selfhood and the environment is in almost everyone almost all the time.

Psychedelic experience gives you this path to escape and re-discover yourself. Going deeper down to the roots of our sub concious mind and discover it's secrets.

Hence the name dark roots.

In this mix i have combined 3 most common elements. Progressive with a nice build up which launches you into another state of mind followed by a nice and smooth feeling from psychedelic trance and finished with some darker side of psy trance and a nice happy touch in the end. Hope you enjoy the story and the music .
