Nacido en Barcelona sus inicios como dj comenzaron en 2003 influenciado por los estilos techno y electro. Artistas como Vitalic, Toni Verdi, Valentino Kanzyani, Umek, Ben Sims, Laurent Garnier o dj Rush son parte de los djs que le hacian vibrar en clubs como Florida 135 o Apolo.

Mas tarde se introdujo en los estilos mas hard techno y fundó con otros dj’s un colectivo para sumergirse durante unos años en la escena rave de Catalunya que para entonces tenía mucha fuerza en el país. Compartiendo cabina en clubs como Zoreks o La Cova con artistas referencia del hard techno alemán como Sven Wittekind o Frank Kvitta.

Después de unos años retomó el techno como referencia clara a lo que quería dedicarse y en los últimos años es habitual verle actuando en clubs underground referencia en Barcelona.

Sus sesiones son enérgicas y contundentes, mezclando por norma general, distintos estilos de techno, con esencia electro y siempre abierto a la improvisación si la conexión con el público así lo requiere.

Born in Barcelona, his beginnings as a DJ began in 2003 influenced by techno and electro styles. Artists such as Vitalic, Toni Verdi, Valentino Kanzyani, Umek, Ben Sims, Laurent Garnier or dj Rush are part of the DJs that made him vibrate in clubs like Florida 135 or Apolo.

Later he was introduced to the most hard techno styles and founded with other DJs a collective to immerse himself for a few years in the rave scene of Catalonia that by then had a lot of strength in the country. Sharing a booth in clubs such as Zoreks or La Cova with reference artists of German hard techno such as Sven wittekind or Frank Kvitta.

After a few years he resumed techno as a clear reference to what he wanted to dedicate and in recent years it is common to see him performing in reference underground clubs in Barcelona.

His sessions are energetic and forceful, mixing, as a general rule, different styles of techno, with electro essence and always open to improvise if the connection with the crowd so requires.

Billy T. Kanova is a Swiss-French sound artist who hails from Geneva, Switzerland. First released in 2008 on the label High Contrast Nu Breed, Billy T. Kanova initiated a collective experience named “B4K3D” that started in 2018 as an intimate and free after-party hosted privately in his music studio in Geneva. As a result, B4K3D enables new talents to emerge as DJs and music producers. It has now grown into an active ongoing family-like community that promotes artists and electronic-music live events. Since then, Billy has been pursuing research in studying altered states of consciousness and the implications related to the mind/body relationship, using light and sound stimulation.
