Welcome to this, the premiere edition of A Deeper Purpose.

This beat tape is called 'When You Look In The Mirror, What Do You See'. Well, when Mood Tone. looked in the mirror the morning this edition was recorded he saw a jazz man with a deeper purpose.

The opening of this tape presents beautiful jazz laden deep house. With pianos a plenty and low slung bass lines to match. There are also hints of LoFi to make you crave those hazy summer days.

During the latter parts as the lights turn down low we move towards more club orientated music, you know, the type you hear outside a club with the doosh-doosh low frequency bassline as you spark up a Malboro Red with your pals, a few tequilas deep.

Yalda Samadi, born 22 December 1990 in Tehran, is an Iranian pianist. She has graduated from University of Applied Science & Technology in Tehran with a bachelor of Music, Performance Pino. Born in a family with great musical history, she started learning music from with her mom, Shirin Baghaee, a Cellist herself, at the age of 6 . As a child, she was a student to well-known Maestro Fariborz Lachini. Some of her other professional instructors to name are: Saman Ehteshami, Chista Gharib, Mostafa Kamal Pourtorab, Tigran Mesroupian, Ehsan Sabouhi, Shaya Asadi, Behrang Shegerfkar.
In 2011 she successfully was granted a scholarship for the Master Classes of the Gyorgy Academy in Hungary.

Samadi attented Kuwait’s National Festival along with Iran’s National Orchestra in 2011. Samadi played in 28th Fajr Music Festival with Sharghi Ensemble as the select group.
Yalda Samadi has taught music and professional piano lessons at Tehran’s conservatory and previously she has taught in renowned muscial institues like Lachini, Arasbaran, Ehteshami Academy & Navaye Shahr Aashoub. Since the Covid-19 pandemic she has been teaching piano via online classes.
