Why music? 
it is music what gives us the 'rest' which we estimate so much and music it is that listens to us patiently if we have hard time. Just how music is it which moves us into celebration mood if good is happen to us.

Musik war für mich schon immer die einzige Sprache, die alle Menschen verstehen. Musik ist ein Universal-Dialog-Werkzeug und ein Beweis, dass ein globales Miteinander statt Gegeneinander durchaus existieren kann. 

Musik ist aber nicht nur eine Sprache, nein, Sie ist komplexer und mindestens vergleichbar mit der Energie, die unseren Planeten zum Drehen bringt. 

Musik ist in der Lage, jeden Ort der Erde nur durch Ihr Vorhandensein in einen neuen Raum zu verwandeln. Sie ist eine unsichtbare, aber fühlbare Dimension, die sich über das vorhandene stülpt und eine neue Atmosphäre schafft. Für mich elegante, pure Kraft. 

Obwohl unsichtbar ist Sie in der Lage, Menschen und ihre Seelen sanft aufzufangen, um sich auf Ihre Art für das Vertrauen zu bedanken, wenn man sich Ihr hingibt. 

Musik giert nicht danach, unbedingt laut gehört zu werden, Sie ist unendlich wandlungsfähig und besitzt auch bei minimaler Lautstärke eine enorme Präsenz für unser Unterbewußtsein. 

Sie ist die einzige Universaldroge, die uns eine allmächtige Kraft bewußt geschenkt hat. Musik ist ein Fluggefährt in die unendlichen Weiten unseres Vorstellungsvermögens. 

Musik ist die einzige funktionierende Zeitmaschine. 

Sie wird uns alle überleben, denn Musik ist gottesgleich und besitzt die Fähigkeit sich unendlich fortzubewegen. 

Sie ist es, die uns die 'Ruhe' gibt, die wir so schätzen und Sie ist es, die uns geduldig zuhört, wenn es uns schlecht geht. Genauso, wie Sie es ist, die uns in Feierlaune versetzt, wenn uns Gutes widerfahren ist. 

Und im Moment ist Sie es, die mich zum Nachdenken über das Leben bringt.

Natascha Polké is a Swiss musician and producer known for blending indie songwriting with emotional, melodic house. Based in Zurich, she has built an international presence with releases on labels like Anjunadeep, PIAS, and Universal Music. Her live shows have taken her across Europe, North America, and Asia — from supporting Kiasmos and Christian Löffler on tour to playing festivals like Fusion, Zürich Openair, ADE, and a standout Cercle show in LA. 2025 will ultimately see Natascha embarking on her very first headline tour across European metropolitan cities.


She lived in London from 2013 to 2017, where she studied songwriting, worked in a studio, and held a residency at the iconic Roundhouse. After returning to Zurich, she immersed herself in the city’s club scene — organizing events at Hive and DJing extensively. During this phase, her current artist project began to take shape. After completing her Master’s in music, she transitioned from DJing to performing fully live — and the project really took off. Her live show merges raw, intimate songwriting with atmospheric, melodic house.


Her upcoming EP - aimed to be released in November - with the third single 'Dawn' releasing September 12th via Universal Music CH and capping the year off in December with a release for Cercle Records, will certainly open a new chapter. With her mix of emotion and groove, she gets people dancing — and maybe even crying a little.
