Hi, I'm Steve Carter and I'm a British electronic music producer based in the East of England. Crossing genres from house/trance to chill out to cinematic soundtracks and much in between my music has atmosphere as it's foundation and has many influences including Kiasmos, Faithless, Moby, Way Out West, Salt Tank and UNKLE.

My musical journey started from a young age listening to various genres of music from soul and R&B through to rock, often recording them on to cassette tape to DJ with to my friends. Since then, i have pushed the boundaries and my understanding of musical structures, constantly writing different styles of music for film, radio and TV as well as for artists. University has helped me open my vast styles of music and has given me the foundations to grow musically and explore new sounds. 

Music is the best way to bring out or enhance emotions, take you to places of your dreams and bring colour to your story.
Biography	
I completed my BA (Hons) Commercial Music Degree in 2011 and am currently working on my own material that i hope one day, will get commissioned for TV/Radio. I work full time in a school as a technician which helps me keep my passion afloat

As well as building a portfolio of material, i also produce. I have co produced with other artist's/groups as well as producing my previous band 'The Overdrafts' and am always looking for new projects to work on.


Been toying with the idea of trying to making some tracks, getting to grips with the looping scene and different software out there. By no way a musician, but technology gives me the option to try all different aspects of music, thought I would share what I have done with the world as its a bit of a hobby of mine now that I wish to continue.
