Amateur DJ for 6 years, I would like to professionalize me. First influenced the free party movement and Tribecore style with sound systems like NARKOTEK, HERETIK or labels like FREE STYLE LISTEN or ASTROFONIK. Since 3 years my musical influence has changed and I turned to techno. I like artists ADAM BEYER, ALAN FIZTPATRICK, LOWKEY & KARDINAL among other. Originally from South Africa, Dylan spent most of his adolescence growing up on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. After spending a lot of weekends and free time down by the beach with his family and friends, he became very familiar with the beach vibe and culture that became a part of his everyday life and is now one of the driving forces behind his company and DJ name Yewplay. 

In 2010, Dylan decided it was time to step into a new side of the hospitality industry and started to learn about event management and DJing. With outdoor events being his favorite, he followed the music and event industry down the path of the house music scene which lead him to a mix of outdoor events like beach, pool and boat parties alone side club/lounge and restaurant gigs. With doing a combination of DJing and Event planning, he was able to create the beachie vibe and sound that flowed smoothly together. With this style feeling the most natural to Dylan it has helped him to create a vision that he is still living and working hard on presently. 

After started his Dj career in his home town of Mooloolaba, Dylan moved to Vancouver where he based himself for the next 5 years. Between a mix of bartending and management jobs, Dylan spent time on the side DJing each week, organizing specialty events and boat parties and also planned events in Miami and Cabo, Mexico each year. During this time he has become familiar with areas such as promotions, marketing, artist bookings and brand development. The industry has also given him the understanding of different music venues and genres and how to read the crowd to determine which music to play and what will create a positive experience for the people in the room. 

During the last few years, Dylan has been based in the USA and kept himself very busy. During this time he has DJed in cities like LA, San Francisco, Miami, Denvor and NYC. He created the event Sunset Sounds Cruise with a good friend that takes place on Clearwater Beach. It’s a full day of events with starting on the rooftop over looking the water, then a 3 hour sunset boat party finished with a beach party at the well known Shepards Beach Reaort. The event has sold out the last 4 times and Dylan and Andrew have taken the event from 150 people to now preparing for 600 with the help of bigger boat. During this time he also got booked to do a two week tour in India where he DJed 5 different events in 5 different cities. Being an international traveler, Dylan has thourly enjoyed getting the chance to travel and DJ in different locations.

This year in 2017, being based in Tampa, Florida, Dylan decided to focus full time on music and developing himself as an artist along side organizing a few annual events. Since starting in February, Dylan has been able to pick up 4 weekly residency's playing at Ciccio Water, The Lodge and Green Lemon and dedicates his weekends to working corportare events and private parties. He has also started an annual tour called Heart+Beats Tour that takes place 3 times a year, one being in Florida, USA, one in Cabo, Mexico and the other in Vancouver, Canada. It’s a 3 day tour with nightly events and the days spent giving back to the local community through outreach work and fund raiser events. 

Now working at night, Dylan has had the chance to spend time during the week to help out organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa put a music program together and has also become a board of director for the charity group Where Love Grows which helps teach kids how to cook and tackle childhood hunger. 

With a lot of positive things happening for Dylan, he has been very happy with his decision to focus full time on the music industry.  He looks forward to now incorporating music production into his schedule and to continue growing as an artist and DJing in different locations.

Born in 1978. Live in Katowice, Poland. Started listening to techno music at the beginning of 21st century.
Visiting techno clubs in Poland, feeling the vibes made by local and international DJ's - it was the first steps into techno community.
Love Parade in Berlin, the journey to the root of techno, completely satisfied his necessity of electronic sounds.
From 2014 he began to create his own techno mixes for internet radios (Art Style Techno, Cuebase, Fnoob, Digitally Imported), Techno Projects (Klark Kennt Berlin Podcast, TechnoPoetry, Was Will Ich Mit Dem Standartkram, Pure Techno and others) and DJ-ing on local techno gigs in Poland and Germany.
From 2014 he is host and producer of Techno projects "Beat Storm" on Fnoob Techno Radio and "Techno Bassault Live" which were made to support and promo popular DJs and Producers and giving people the best of techno vibes.

Being a music lover for as long as I can remember it was obvious I had to end up behind the decks at some point.
25 years ago festivals ,which are household names now, were organising their first gigs. Think I love techno, 10 days off, etc. These gatherings and the Fuse club (Brussels) influenced me a lot.
I decided to buy some gear and worked hard to master the mixing craft. At the same time I tried to put some allnighters together. With the help of my musical partner Skinflair I managed to
bring some fresh air into the dead scene of my home city.
It did not take long before the bookings came rolling in. This went from gigs in smaller venues to performances for a bigger crowd. Achievements I am most proud of are:
Bunktek (2004) with Kevin Saunderson, Kozzmozz (2006) Talent room, I DJ (2007) Raw Talent winner.
In 2011 I became a resident for the infamous Fnoob techno internet radio. As in all my mixes I try to play several styles of music but still stay true to the techno roots. Fnoob offers me the perfect platform to do this.
In July 2013 I went to Lisbon for the station and took part in their first ever Fnoob gig. Club Rubik was the perfect spot to do this.
 
Furthermore I challenged myself learning producer skills. It was, and still is, a steep learning curve with some nice results. Most of my tracks have been released on labels such as Electrodeluxe recordings, Momentvm rec and Ambizi.
With the latter I have an agreement to release several tracks. Meanwhile I continue to improve on my sound.
