A screaming comes across the club... 

Sweat is a collection of 2017-2021 live tracks. They are structured akin to the live shows I've been doing over these years, missing, of course, some works in progress and forthcoming material usually involved. 

This was the time. And this is the record of the time. 

Every show would get a new version, and these are my favorites. Evidently, most are vastly superior to the sickly versions previously available. These are precious for the experience and knowledge that went into them, they have been whittled down from bricks of compressed noise. 

Shit, basically I felt fucking stupid for having some bangers sit around on my laptop forever cause I'm not playing any of these live again (what shows? what clubs? me and whose army lol?); people keep asking me for these; most people will never see me live, so. And I figured this is a time to start a Bandcamp, seeing how Bio Future Laboratory is still selling my shit but won't pay me. 
I am still real, I exist. 

Thank you to everyone for inviting me to play, and thank you to everyone for coming to hear me play. I remember this; it happened. 

You may view this as a live album, and you may pick your favorites from the repeated tracks, which would give you a vague approximation of a show, minus the sweat.

The Ick — a sense of sanity amidst the storm of information. This album by Archetype is an abstract scream for something quite fragile — a polarizing society, disruptive isolation, and the fading collective experience. Utilizing dramatic vocals, industrial trip-hop, and post-punk-leaning electronics, Archetype marks the new moniker by the ever-versatile Viennese Rotterdammer, Leonard Prochazka. Following his manifold of concept-driven, instinctive musical output, Archetype's "The Ick" releases in 2024, following "Strapazen und Genesung" as Geier Aus Stahl on Knekelhuis in 2022.

Archetype - Minute After Minute

“On 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝑴𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒊, Expugnantis brings to Enmossed a compendium of nine dubs of minimal, crystalline excellence. Reflecting on “foggy” memories of a long car ride from the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg portion of the Great Escarpment, the album texturalizes Expugnantis’s grainy sentimental remembrance. The aquatic production is filtered through cloudy synth pads and plucky percussion. Here the expanse sits in the gestures of the minimal, not hampering the listener with dense maximalism or dramatics, but evoking focus through precise and considered repetition.

While the rooting of the compositions is hypersomnic and sentimental, they are filtered through the geographical contexts of recording and operating in the isolatory confines within Columbia, South Carolina. The murk of the percussion is the architectural foundation for the recordings, the pivoting agent between what Expugnantis thinks of as the immersive aquatic field and the game of going within and out. Emotive but not cliche, driving but not oppressive; Expugnantis takes us to Madadeni or somewhere akin.”

Expugnantis - Configure (ENMS-04)

Silbad focuses on making minimalistic, but at the same time detailed sound, to create a musical universe of many small references and details, recycled and buried among other sounds.

Silbad said:
"What I love most is when music takes you somewhere far away, creates a unique mood where it seems as if time doesn't exist."

The album was recorded in the fall and winter of 2023/24, and contains both very recent and fading memories that over time begin to feel like dreams.

"Personally, my music helps me both not to forget and to forget at the same time.
The last phrase of course probably sounds too pathetic, but I meant that over the years my own dreams and motifs from my youth are erased, and only a few things like music help me to remember them. And forgetting = dissolving into creativity."
