A monthly radio programme on Soundart Radio celebrating the understated,  electronic underground, with the music and artists connected in some shape or form to the labels: cotton goods, moteer, mobeer and the family that orbit around them.

The original series of shows ran from 2011 to 2018 and, after a two-year hiatus, returned to Soundart in July 2020.

PS. The image is from a picture I bought in a restaurant / art gallery in Ejsberg, Denmark back in about 2006/7.   Can't remember who the artist was, apart from the intials SB  So if anyone does know her/him, then please say thank you on my behalf.
The original painting is called 'The Concert' by Gerhard Terborch (1617-1681)and depicts af girl playing viola da gamba and harpsichord. 17th century, early Baroque.

RESET PROSE are life-long friends duo Gavin Mitchell & Nathan Smith. They have established themselves at, and with enormous support from, local folk clubs The Milkmaid and The Bury Folk Collective - privileged to perform showcase nights and enjoy opening sets for JEZ LOWE & THE BAD PENNIES, THEM HARVEY BOYS, SHERRI KERSHAW, THE GERRY COLVIN BAND and, more recently, a pre-event warm up for FAIRPORT CONVENTION.

They are singer/songwriters hailing from Suffolk, playing a mixture of their own original tunes and covers.

Live performances see Gavin on guitar/harmonica and Nathan on mandolin/guitar. In the studio the sound is expanded by either player to incorporate bass, drums or keyboards into the mix.

Having previously played at FolkEast in 2013 & 2014, and half hour slots at the local Oxjam in 2013-2015, RESET PROSE has also played at The Cambridge Folk Festival 2014 - followed by the inaugural 2015 Bury Folk Festival in collaboration with the Bury Folk Collective (with a follow-up appearance in 2016 booked). They have also been honoured to play gigs at other wonderful folk clubs and venues in Stowmarket (with the distinction of being the very first opening act at the John Peel Centre), Great Bardfield, Thetford, Wolferton, and an hour long live internet radio show on West Norfolk Radio in Great Massingham... to name a few!
