Although I like most genres in music. I have always preferred Progressive Trance., Techno.  I find it can be quite emotional. I just close my eyes, feel the mems and smile. It’s definitely my happy space.

Born in Grenoble, France and inspired by Berlin’s underground—including a pilgrimage to the legendary Berghain—Fantom K brings a European edge to Ottawa’s scene.

His sound blends the hypnotic depth of dark European techno with the groove and movement of tech house, always with a journey-driven flow that keeps the dance floor moving and immersed. Heavy kicks, rolling basslines, and darker atmospheres meet rhythm and presence, creating sets that feel magnetic, untamed, and deeply human.

Formerly known as HeavyK, Fantom K has risen through Ottawa’s underground—playing Escapade afterparties, festivals, and the city’s core venues. With his first original track fully mastered and more on the way, he continues carving out a signature sound rooted in rhythm, emotion, and authenticity.
