Track 1, "KOFI" from Alan Mooney's Edits is a Beatdown masterpiece. A sample ripped from a dusty old record, bent and moulded in the digital realm for it to be put back on wax and it doesn't stop giving. As far as introductions go, this one is a bit special.

I LOVE Margie, so very much. And only just stumbled upon this track from her self title Margie LP a couple of months back. Some lovely production but not quite what it takes for most dance floors and NOWHERE NEAR LONG ENOUGH.

As always I've tried to show maximum love for the original, just wanted to toughen up those beats and hear that insanely good chorus a few more times. I hope you enjoy!

Margie Joseph - I Can't Move No Mountains (Scrimshire Edit)

It made a nice change to play some reclined cuts in a club setting before Stamp The Wax hosted Gaussian Curve's live UK debut at The Yard, London.

Some newer bits from Mood Hut, Tornado Wallace, Lord of the Isles and Vermont, alongside some 80's Japanese ambient and a few solo efforts from Gaussian Curve band members Gigi Masin and Jonny Nash. 

Not an exercise in beat matching, but then there were too many beats around to match. Recorded on a Sunday. Best served on a Sunday. Comment if you'd like to know an IDs.

Yannick Roberts is mostly known for his releases on Freerange Records, but also released music under his former alias Ouvrijster on Sampling As An Art Records, Sleazy Beats and his own record label Dievegge Recordings since 2017. Yannick’s own take on the deep, disco-influenced Detroit House sound is warm and punchy. With sampling Soul and Disco records, he creates House music for the place where it belongs: sweaty dancefloors. Always with the utmost respect for where the music originated from and with the a philosophy on how House music should be celebrated. This is reflected in his DJ sets, where Yannick plays vinyl to create this space with warm sounds, solid grooves and yearning vocals.
