Born Alan James Gold, AJ Gold grew up on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. He began rapping and writing music at the age of 13, and continued into producing/engineering his own beats by the age of 19. His in depth, sometimes sinister writing is complimented by his rough vocal inflection. His thought-provokingly metaphoric perception of life, give a descriptive narrative about relationships and experiences that come through in his music. Heavily influenced by artists such as Eminem, Atmosphere, Styles of Beyond, Mac Miller and Juice Wrld, his lyrical content never falls short of profound. As he continues to produce/engineer and write his own original music, AJ Gold is currently in the infancy stages of an extensive and successful career in the music industry.
