DJ Yaso G, moves as easily between genres as she does between different regions. Born in the Ruhrpott, raised in Spain, long commuting between Hamburg and the new home of choice Berlin-Kreuzberg, each station on the way was (style-) influential. The first Missy CD and growing up with Hip Hop play a role, but above all also the Kurdish roots and influences of friends, community and her B2BCREW. 
Bringing all this together, weaving a mix from the loose strings: poli-rhythmic and bass-heavy, with rap from the queens and queers of the scene, that's what makes Yaso G's set so empowering and energetic.
