Baby I'm the summer rain. A 107 BPM downtempo 2022 gem taken from IV-IN's debut on Magician on Duty. 

IV-IN is a producer, DJ, and Live-act from Romania. His music, as he describes it, is a “Natural movement in a synthetic world”, often characterized by the use of acoustic elements, guitar sounds, and “noise” that surrounds him, the raw organic feeling of the tracks, and an experimental approach towards producing. Playing guitar from his pre-teenage years, he slowly built this sound into his electronic productions along with his deep voice and lyrics that draw inspiration from the life he lives.

If only this poetry could define how your presence takes me towards cloud nine. Your touch brings sensations that feel divine, yet, my tongue is quiet, fighting this muse of mine.

Waiting for the moment our lips can greet,
your sweet voice takes control of my heartbeat.
I sigh hallelujah, as our eyes meet,
the taste of your mouth makes my life complete.

Suddenly the pen flows like buoyant streams,
describing love that's only seen in daydreams.
I'm just a star within universal schemes,
basking within the passion of your moonbeams.

Rising from humble beginnings like Icarus heading towards the skies, Singularity plots its course for the stratosphere as it heads ever onwards and upwards…but unlike Icarus this is a tempered and restrained ascent not an easy task to pull off but one that makes the impact so much stronger for it's subtle, ever evolving simplicity.

With a melody that comes on like a half-remembered memory and lingers long after the sound itself fades away, Singularity stays with you, slowly and carefully weaving its way around you while its drums beat a steady, forceful pulse and its percussion jumps in and out like Billy Pilgrim skipping thru time. The combined effect is something much more than the sum of its parts. Somehow this simple techno tune creates an entire world of its own and asks you to inhabit it for a while, losing yourself in the process..

On the flip side, Monoloc exercises an equal and proportional restraint in his take on things. Like a voice emerging from a faded dream, the melody peeks out behind a curtain of reverb and industrial drums compellingly foreshadowing its full potential. Growing from there, the atmosphere slowly engulfs the listener until finally the slow build up reaches its full force providing a fantastic re-imagining of the original with an almost romantic yet no less powerful conclusion.

Love and passion for the genres of electronic music began in very young age. Born in Ukraine in a post-soviet country , where electronic music was restricted in access. YATS father collected CD's with such bands as: Depeche mode, Pink Floyd,The Police and others , which made a great influence on the musician. In the early career of YATS, you can hear music in some styles of Synth-Wave , Pop. He was the creator of the band call "Palladium" which performed around Europe. Later, after living three years in Asia moved to central Europe where now performs and writes music.
Always experimenting with different styles, bringing a new sound to my world. Immerse yourself in it with me.
