My next guest on Yax Invites is Dryad, a UK-born artist based in Adelaide, Australia. 

Originally pursuing a career with Funktion-One which did not materialise but formed a strong sound system direction for his infamous ‘Billion Underground’ parties in Melbourne, which he co-founded with Lost Few.  These parties hosted a serious roster of local and international artists who were invited to deliver their skills in warehouses and underground locations, including Dino Sabatini,  Echo Inspectors, Daniel Filipovic, Matic, Ancient Methods, Tripeo, Pfirter and Drumcell.  Since living in Adelaide there has been one successful party comprised of local hardware headz under the 'Carbon' banner before Covid stopped momentum.

Since then there has been a hiatus, but now there are more offerings emerging from the shadows with mixes and a return to production.  This mix serves as a current techno offering as well as a step back in time to some retro UK flavours...
