For the first release of 2023, Tech Avenue proudly welcomes Unnamed & Unknown label founder Pedro Vasconcelos for his debut. He's quickly becoming one of Portugal’s finest exports, inspired by the likes of Paco Osuna & Marco Carola, Pedro’s love for feel-good and rhythmically-focused deep and tech house has become the basis for his continued growth and popularity as an artist. Pedro’s desire for delivering captivating DJ performances has already seen him become a leading name in his home country of Portugal, and aid in his increasing notoriety throughout the globe. 
 
He brings with him Romanian talent Cosmin Horatiu, who is no stranger to our imprint with his prior release "So Good" EP shaking up the catalogue with a beautifully crafted pair. Following releases on Kaluki, Deep Perfect, and the widely respected NoZzo, Cosmin's tracks always bring a fresh perspective, and this one is no exception!
 
The "Funky Mood" Single boasts a refined melodic style that puts a jazzy vocal at the center, overlaid on top of a unique percussive groove. The offsetting percussion blocks we're one of the elements that caught our ear, and truly brings out the essence of the track. The Norwich-based DJ/producer Ben Graves, whose infectious basslines and catchy vocal hooks have caught the attention of heavyweights like Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, and Mason Collective. Now, Graves steps forward with his latest two-tracker ‘Funky’, a vibrant addition to the label’s growing catalogue of dynamic, dancefloor-driven House.
The opening track, ‘Feel It’, is a smooth, side-stepping heater driven by deep, low-slung bass and sharp beats that propel this groovy trip. Bringing his African ethnic roots together with his good Italian taste, Tamango Records boss Yaya is one of the hottest names in the electronic music scene. Yaya grew up in Turin, where the tunes of his father - percussionist and leading voice of the “M’bamina” ensemble - helped him to discover his inner sense of rhythm, thus starting his relationship with music at an early age and performing as a drummer around the city. Since joining the mighty Desolat family back in 2009, he never stopped moving between the biggest meccas of European electronic music, playing at the best clubs and festivals from all over the world. Besides his unique DJ sets, Yaya is also a prolific producer: after releasing on some of the most respected underground labels, he went on and in 2016 founded his own imprint Tamango Records which has seen names from the likes of Loco Dice, Enzo Siragusa, Cuartero, Rich NxT, Cassy, Toman, and S.A.M. to name a few.
