As in our first Collab @8roosh.m 🤝 working on, this one was a lot of fun 😎 , in fact we came across this amazing speech which has inspired us to bring it to life again from 1970 by the legendary Syrian poet Omar Abu Risha

- Omar Abu Risha (10 April 1910 – 15 July 1990), the renowned Syrian poet, was appointed Ambassador to the United States in 1961. When presenting his credentials to President John F. Kennedy, Kennedy asked him to introduce the Syrians. Abu Risha humorously replied, “Your Excellency, our Syrian ancestor, Jesus Christ, is your Lord, sir.” This marked the beginning of a personal friendship between the two, with Kennedy frequently inviting Abu Risha to share his poetry.

After Hafez al-Assad’s coup, Abu Risha ended his diplomatic career, stating he refused to represent a state governed by a “gang.” He declared,
“Syria no longer resembles itself,” lamenting that those who truly reflected Syria were silenced.

He passed away in Saudi Arabia, in exile, due to his opposition to the Assad regime 🕊️
