These tiny little chips, Application-Specific Integrated Circuits, that ASIC lends his name from can be understood as miniature city maps. Listening to ASIC's music, one enters urban canyons called Bass, Beat, Poststep, Glo-Fi and Techno. ASIC constantly expands the borders of his setup, understanding it as an open instrument. He modulates and molders his sounds, beat structures and athmospheric figures endlessly. Thus, ASIC’s musical journey can hardly be anticipated.

Genoa-based Massimo Pegoraro invites you to a ride on the carousel of Modus, a voyage of
cinematic and sacral music, flavored with surreal atmospheres.
His past releases for Marmo Music and Wo_land – such as The Adderf Arreug EP featuring a
remix by Hierogliephic Being – show sophisticated arrangements and an extraordinary genre
versatility. Wether he treats electronica, down-tempo or techno, he uses electronic devices
and acoustic instruments to lead you to a parallel world, a polychrome musical universe.
His highly immaginative and narrative compositions draw inspiration from Nino Rota,
Moondog, Magister Perotinus, Fabrizio De Andrè as well the adventurous scales of early
progressive rock.
