Paul Ritch’s productions and performances, characterised by his powerful and harmonic techno with a touch of pure emotive soul, represent his true signature sound – the one that has projected him to global recognition.

In 2007, Paul Ritch took the techno scene by storm both on stage and as a producer. Ever since, Paul has been defined by his passionate musical rhetoric, projected in releases for labels like Drumcode, SCI+TEC, Saved, Cocoon Recordings, Soma Records and Bpitch Control, among many others, and remixes to classic tracks such as Ondu, Positive Education,Tropical Melons, Remainings III, Magic K, The Test and I’m Burning Inside. References that have led him to be included among Resident Advisor’s all-time Top 100 charted artists.

In 2008, Paul brought to life his own imprint, Quartz Rec, conceived as a platform of artistic expression for showcasing cutting-edge techno sounds and a broad vision of electronic music. With its first release, “Split EP Part 1” (Paul Ritch, 2008), the label held a top 2 position on Beatport ́s Techno chart. And following hot on the heels of its fifth birthday, Quartz Rec has already published original tracks and remixes from Okain, Paco Osuna, Nic Fanciulli, Thomas Muller, Barem, Carlo Lio, Dubfire, 2000 and One, Onno, Cuartero and Anton Pieete.

Ritch’s musical delirium and his creativity on stage are two of his unique trademarks and these have been witnessed in his live performances on four continents including clubs such as Amnesia, Space and Pacha in Ibiza, Fabric and Egg Club in London, Womb and Circus in Tokyo, Berghain and Watergate in Berlin, Goa in Rome and Madrid, Rex Club in Paris, among many others.

He has also performed at festivals including Time Warp (Holland and Germany), Monegros (Spain), Awakenings, Voltt Open Air and ADE (Holland), SW4 (UK), Neo Pop Festival (Portugal), Hyte Park Festival (NYC), Amore Festival (Italy), BPM (Mexico) and WMC (Miami).
2014 was a year in which Paul continued to excel and reinvent himself with his very own musical mindset, and without a doubt, 2015 will be transcendental for Ritch as he looks to keep growing and achieve even greater goals.

Vasco Valente nasceu entre muros de xisto, à mão plantados por anónimos escultores do Douro Património da Humanidade. Começou a cruzar músicas em 2005 e foi residente do Douro In (Régua) e do Puro Malte (Lamego) até começar a organizar os próprios eventos em 2008. Grape Crushing Beats, Mera Coincidência, Beatnick e Varosa Lounge, foram alguns dos projectos que o levariam a despertar para o panorama nacional e a passar a integrar a RDZ em 2010, relação que manteve durante 10 anos, e que o levariam a 7 de residência no Industria Club e à ignição do Festival Elétrico. A pandemia veio agitar as ideias e soltar as amarras, e está agora de volta à base, no Douro, para se dedicar de novo a projectos pessoais, com especial foco na estreita ligação que mantém entre a electrónica de dança e os néctar dos deuses. Na música, como nos vinhos, os sets são coloridos de House, exalam aromas de Deep muito maduro, sabores recheados de Techno bem fresco, e o final é longo, persistente e cheio de Disco. Acompanha bem com pataniscas de bacalhau.

Amulador is a moving entity. Always circumspect, he activates the mechanism and dives into the unknown. Away from the hype and from the enlightened figure that is associated to DJs, he rather focus the spotlight into the columns, delivering risky and nonconformist music, capturing the most abstract and pulsating edges of today's electronic music. He combines high-speed trips with different perspectives, that can be melodic and subtle or rhythmic and scathing. Deviant walks through peculiar landscapes are marked with mirages of expectation, opening doors to cinematic fantasy. Amulador makes his name through the quiet shadows, initiating a musical continuum without precedent.

Longe dos hypes e da figura iluminada do DJ, atira o protagonismo para as colunas, entrega música arriscada e inconformista, captando as orlas mais abstractas e pulsantes da música tecnológica actual. Viagens a várias velocidades conjugam várias perspectivas ora melódicas e subtis, ora rítmicas e contundentes. Passeios desviantes em paisagens peculiares são pontuados por miragens de expectação, abrindo portas para a fantasia cinemática.

Bio:
Audiokern, aka Alain Zumbühl, born February 9, 1984 in Switzerland, is an electronic music artist. In his early teens, he became interested in playing the guitar and attended lessons to start learning how to play. At the age of 14, he began to admire how DJ's used vinyl records in their sets. Immediately, his curiosity for this form of musical expression developed. 

In the 90's, techno was in high demand, even in the small province of Thun, where Alain grew up. Characterized by the location and the environment, his budding DJ career was mainly established in underground clubs and in the former Selve area, which was an integral part of the Swiss club scene at the time. After several years as an active DJ, Alain also began to further develop his style and explored new genres, including more hip hop records in his sets, which lead to him gain new audiences. At that time hip hop was also very popular in Thun and was well received in the city of almost 44,000 inhabitants. 

At age 22, he came up with the idea of producing his own songs and marketing them internationally. Unfortunately, there were only a handful of people around him who shared the same interest, so he had to do so on his own and still focused mainly on creating music. With basic equipment he made initial inroads into all sorts of genres, but quickly realized that electronic music was his main focus and passion, as it gave him enough freedom to develop his artistry. 

In 2012 Alain Zumbühl founded his own label Klangkeller Records, through which he regularly publishes his productions, mainly in vinyl format.

We are a Helsinki-based electro duo that was setup to discover and experience the qualities of electronic music. After composing and performing music in various groups for over 15 years, we owed ourselves the chance to try something that has always been close to our hearts.

The change was driven by seeing what music can be when it becomes too serious - it loses colours from its spectrum. We decided to give our guitars some time to rest and turned our efforts towards finding the missing wavelengths from the endless arrays of electronic sounds. 

This is our luminiferous experiment.

Max Cooper is an electronic composer, multi-disciplinary artist, music label founder and former scientist who has carved out a unique space in music and visual art.

He holds a PhD in computational biology at the same time as being the first contemporary electronic musician to perform at the ancient Acropolis theatre in Athens and one of the first clutch of musicians to produce in Dolby Atmos.

Cooper has enquired for over 15 years through music, collaborations, and his label Mesh, to explore the intersections between the arts and sciences with installations, performances, immersive experiences, online media, music videos and live events.  Anchored throughout is his emotive approach, connecting how ideas and forms feel, in a manner accessible to us all. 
 
As an artist synonymous with the evolution of club culture, Cooper honed his craft as a DJ with a 10 year residency at legendary Midlands techno event Firefly where he formed a foundational relationship with Architecture Social Club, with whom he still collaborates on extravagant immersive installations.

"I want to encourage the acceptance of electronic music as an art form like any other. Bringing electronic music and abstract audio-visual projects into concert halls, museums and galleries is liberating - the art world opens up doors to communicate in ways that aren’t possible elsewhere."
  
Pivoting from computational biology to electronic music might not seem like the most natural career transition, but for Cooper the commonalities are obvious:
 
"In both fields, you're in a sense, free. Free from the limits of living systems, free from the limits of corporeal sound. The only constraints are in your mind."
