The Genesis marks the awakening of Yamaraghori, a project crafted by Yamaraja and Cyber Aghori.

This debut album explores the moment creation stirs from silence — the birth of form from formlessness, chaos from stillness. It moves through worlds shaped by myth, philosophy, and dreamlike distortion — blending sacred mysticism, and cinematic atmospheres with intricate psycore structures, where the ancient and the futuristic merge into one sonic breath.

Every pulse, stutter, and whisper in The Genesis reflects the eternal cycle of emergence and dissolution — an experience both human and beyond human. It is an invocation of the void, a dance between shadow and light, matter and emptiness.

Munich-based label Plattenbank Music presents its new release, a collaborative project between Maze 28 and Aman Anand.

Maze 28 is the moniker of Albanian producer and DJ Mario Zefi, and Aman Anand hails from Bangalore, India, where he has steadily built a reputation as a forward-thinking artist in the underground circuit. Both have carved distinct spaces within the melodic and progressive electronic music scene.

The opener, Dreamspace, unfolds with patient momentum. Layers accumulate gradually, interwoven with subtle ethnic inflections that stretch beyond conventional genre boundaries. Percussive details, shakers, and open hi-hats lend a tactile quality, while the saxophone, introduced with restrained melancholy, becomes the track’s defining voice.

The second track, Night Lights, takes a different route, creating a hypnotic environment where shifting layers evoke a sense of transcendence. The piece is a meditative projection balancing new sonic ideas with a touch of nostalgia.

Maze 28 and Aman Anand show respect for tradition while exploring new ideas. Their debut on Plattenbank is a release that deserves attention and repeat listens.
