"Denny Dipper ist  sowohl DJ als auch Dancefloor Creator. Denn für ihn ist das Gesamtkonzept, welches nicht nur Musik & Lichttechnik, sondern auch detailreiche Deko und technische Spielereien beinhaltet, ausschlaggebend für die Floor-Experiance und die Geschichte, die er erzählen möchte.
Wer auf den Tanzflächen seines Kollektivs genauer hinschaut, entdeckt zwischen der ausgefallenen Deko oftmals Knöpfe, Hebel, Seilzüge oder Buzzer die den Tänzern & Tänzerinnen ermöglichen interaktiv am Geschehen teilzunehmen.

Sein Ziel: Mit viel Fantasie eine Atmosphäre zaubern, die so viele Sinne wie möglich beansprucht. 

Vorallem in seiner Heimatstadt Augsburg hat er mit seinen Crews & Kollektiven schon viele Lokalitäten wie z.B. die Mahagoni Bar Katakomben, die Kantine 2 & 3, das Hallo Werner, den City Club und die Soho Stage in kleine Utopien verwandelt. Die lokale Szene stärken, Menschen mit verschiedenen Talenten zusammen bringen und etwas Außergewöhnliches erschaffen, ist seit seinen Anfangszeiten mit der "Peters Garden" Crew die treibende Motivation. So entstanden verschiedene Club- und Festival Projekte wie...
 》"Diskofauna" (SohoStage) / "DISKOTIERE"  (Hallo Werner)
 》das Downtempo Kollektiv "Taj~Ma~Schall" (Fiasco Festival, Harry Klein & Bahnwärter Thiel),
 》"Baba Jaga" (Kontrast Festival) und
 》 "Iltis Burn" (gemeinnütziges Kultur-Gathering nach Burning Man Prinzipien). 
Konzepte bei denen der Fokus darauf liegt, vorallem Augsburger Kollektive zu vereinen, Wissen zu bündeln, voneinander zu lernen, zu profitieren und für die Augsburger Szene einen kulturellen Mehrwert zu kreieren.

Musikalisch möchte er sich nicht explizit auf einen Stil festlegen, wobei man ihn auf lokaler Ebene schon als Pionier im Bereich Downtempo & Slow Tech ansehen kann. 

Die in seinen Augen durch "harten & schnellen" Sound geprägten Augsburger Raver an die Vielfalt der elektronischen Musik heranführen, ist definitiv eine seiner Missionen. Nichtsdestotrotz steht der Vibe immer im Vordergrund und so erwischt man ihn auch mal im Mid Tempo Bereich und bei Ausflügen in verschiedene andere Musikgenres, wie House, DeepTech, Power House, Tech-House & Disco. Den Dancefloor lesen und aus einem breiten Spektrum an Musik darauf reagieren zu können macht für ihn das Auflegen aus, deshalb behält er sich vor, seine Sets stets spontan und ungeplant zu spielen.

Außerhalb Bayerns zählen wohl das GoldenGate (Berlin) & das Plötzlich am Meer Festival (Polen) zu den bekanntesten Institutionen, auf denen er seinen Sound zum Besten geben durfte."

I got into dnb back in 99, and I have a great love for the golden era sound since then.
Also I'm a huge collector when it comes to electronic music, and in the past few years I used my Youtube channel to publish my own mixes there. I managed to make a great community there with over 6000 subscribers, and I'm glad for that, because it's a joy for me to spread the classic vibes for so many people. He likes hip-hop, skateboarding, schnitzel, Leibniz biscuits and long walks in the sunset, but he’s most respected for how he traipses across electronic music’s wildest terrains with total boundary abandonment… And is regarded as a leading influential new-gen figure in the genre. 

From his agenda-setting halftime twist of ‘Sunday Crunk’ to his rolling, emotional collabo cameo on Camo & Krooked’s acclaimed album ‘Mosaik’. From his entrance into the Fabriclive mix hall of fame with a mix album comprising entirely of his own productions (‘Fabriclive 95’) to his Drum&BassArena Award-winning debut album ‘Emulation’, Mefjus’s signature sound has been felt across the furthest expanses of the genre since he emerged in the early 2010s. 

Now working closely with Vision - the label run by kindred studio spirits Noisia - Mefjus continues to fine-tune his musical syntax, technical dexterity, eye for detail and deft groove sensibilities. The latest chapter to savour this on-going flux of development is his second album ‘Manifest’.

Released April 2018, ‘Manifest’ is the sound of Mefjus 2.0. After several years in the studio wilderness, exploring the dark science of song structure, musicality and textural contrasts, ‘Manifest’ captures a new mindset for Mefjus. Raw, energetic, playful and subversive, ‘Manifest’ is the most personal, diverse and daring body of work to date. Not so much as reminder of why he occupies such a unique position in drum & bass but a straight-up statement of intent.

://about blank is a multi-room club by Ostrkeuz S-Bahnhof in Friedrichshain. It's a short walk from Salon Zur Wilde Renate, and like that club, it's a lightly renovated re-purposed building with seemingly endless nooks and crannies. There are two main dance floors inside, one tent outside and in the summer DJs play out in the garden (this is open in the winter too, often with a bonfire going). 

The music policy is open-ended but mostly focused on house and techno, with occasional bass or disco nights. The overall atmosphere is gritty, and the parties often go well into the following afternoon or evening.
