The Thatcher effect is about a cognitive dysfunction that affects the perception we have of certain objects, more specifically faces. A little brain game that offers us a reality different from ours. On this occasion, with “Thatcher Effect EP” I wanted to show that not everything we hear is perceived in the same way. There are infinite possibilities, endless ways of understanding music, whatever genre it is. After a very difficult year, away from my true passion, I present this new 4-track EP, which tells a story, a vision of my own reality. I really wanted to go back to the studio, and I hope you find this new musical adventure exciting, created directly from the heart to your senses. It feels like an eternity of darkness. Seeing the weak, crawling hands of light rays radiating from the dying sun on the horizon, not quite able to make a dent on the pitch darkness, one might wonder: will the darkness prolong for another eternity? Unknown to them is another world, trying to break free from the grip of relentless & blinding light.

The beings on both sides roam around trying to find the switch that can flip through reality. But, as with most things in the cosmos, they feel controlled by the invisible threads of a higher power, a machine that no one knows. The sands of time flow endlessly through that machine, waiting for the signal to reverse the flow. Will anyone amongst the millions, be able to find that switch hidden in plain sight, within their own minds?

"VA Time Switch" has 10 tracks carefully selected in to a serious assortment by Mico-X, this collection of sounds falls under the night psytrance spectrum.

Gigi is a Psytrance artist from Israel. Since the age of 16, he has been involved in music, starting with rock and metal genres before quickly transitioning to electronic music.

In 2018, Gigi founded his project while deeply studying sound at BPM College and pursuing extensive self-learning. His music is characterized by a funky groove, the integration of live instruments, and unique synthesis developed over the years, resulting in a distinctive sound that adds an extra dimension and excitement.

Gigi's creations fall under the sub-genre of Psytrance known as Twilight, where he successfully blends diverse influences to create captivating and energetic musical experiences.
