EXISTENCE RESISTANCE 
is a journey to self discovery. Created in the wake of the global pandemic, The album spells out a spiritual, political, sexual, generational as well as a deep self awareness. Divided into two Acts, the album is reflection of the times and how it has affected the average person's rights and privileges as a human being, to live and love, in 2020.

I never really understood the consequences of losing a loved one till my dad passed away 10 years ago. Nothing really prepares you for the loss of a father, a mother, a close friend or even a loved one.
In these dark times where lives are lost daily to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, i wanted to put something out for those who are losing, and have lost loved ones. We will carry on.  inspired by songs like "One Sweet Day" and "Bye Bye".
Monlee is such a talented artist and my major collaborator (producer) on most of my records so i wanted the right song to collaborate with him on. his vocal texture has always wowed me so i felt the time and song was right.
This is for Mary Omesiete, Danjuma Adamu & my father Olu Aiyela.

YW&F (feat. MonLee)

I got the idea for the song sitting by myself, in a crowded house party. 2019 was a year of introspection so i wanted everything i wrote to expressly detail what i was feeling or realizing about myself and i got to find out i'm basically a hermit. i enjoy my own company and it can have its perks but i'm quick to also mention that it has its pitfalls. 
I feel like a lot of us feel like this sometimes or even more than usual and at times its ok to want your space and get to know who you really are. Other times its a death trap so the best way to manage it (I've found) is coming out of your shell every time and again and finding a balance ... your frequency.
Featuring Jon was something i wanted to do for a while but i needed the right track and this seamed like the one. Collaborating with him was easy and fun as we bounced ideas off of each other.

Anti-Social (feat. Jon Ogah)

"CAKE" is a House/Afro pop fusion track, released as a follow up single to "Anti-Social". its a song that has different layers to it. On one level, its  a political statement criticizing leadership while on a personal level, its describes the misuse of power in any dysfunctional relationship. "CAKE" is part of an upcoming project. hope you love it as much as i do.
