Wallis Ferne is an up and coming twenty three year old singer-songwriter from Berkshire. A classically trained singer, Wallis writes and performs creative and original alternative/folky/country/pop songs filled with depth and emotion.

Influenced by the strong lyrics of Beth Nielsen Chapman, Sara Bareilles and Nerina Pallot, Wallis has developed her own unique style of writing. Wallis released 4 singles between 2017 and 2019 and launched her debut EP in April 2020.

Wallis says“trying to fit in/succeed in the music industry is pretty tough, especially if you have the added complication of autism (Asperger syndrome). Although I often struggle with confidence and communication I like to think that I'm pretty friendly and easy going. I'm a songwriter, song arranger, multi-instrumentalist and Mixing/Mastering freak dedicated to home recording and music collaborations. And the guitar is my main instrument. My musical roots go back to the 70s and 80s. In addition to my own songs, I am regularly looking for musical pearls, which I often celebrate with my musician buddies as part of virtual song projects, and thereby dress them in a new musical guise. My musician friends and I do not have financial interests. 

To expand my network of musicians, I'm always looking for new musician friends - mainly singers - who are interested in music collaboration, but who have reached their musical limits on their own and now want to take the next step. If you have an expressive voice, then I can offer you all the other skills and experience you need to get a professional-sounding song project off the ground.

During the 70s Yelping Fraud was a well-known local band in Germany consisting of four musicians. Decades passed and yet one of them - Tiomofee - still maintains writing and producing under the name of his erstwhile band. He is occasionally supported, constructively criticized and deliberated on matters of sound and taste by his former band colleagues.

Hello, thanks for taking your time and visiting me here on soundcloud. I live in Germany. Music is an important part of my life; its hobby and passion. In the age of 14 my interest for playing guitar started. Rock, Jazzrock, Fusion were my early influences. When I was 19 I played in my 1st band. In the last years I very much enjoyed playing and recording with friends and at home.

Main gear: Gibson Les Paul, 335 and some more. Marshall JCM 900 (Stereo Setup with Lexicon PCM 81/91). RME UFX III as "recording backbone" and parallel effect loop for the amps.
