無頭騎士在森林裡急得團團轉！在昏暗的月光下，他一面躲避追兵，一面尋找被炸飛的頭。樂曲以模仿蟲鳴的節奏開始，逐漸轉化成騎士緊張的心跳聲。音樂的主要動機被拉伸和壓縮，如同月色下的景物時而清楚時而模糊，亦如騎士忐忑不安的心情。他不禁快馬加鞭，卻不小心掉到泥濘的沼澤中。等他終於爬上岸，刺眼的陽光映入眼簾，他回頭看到自己的影子，赫然發現·····

Hurrying along in the gloom of night, Headless Horseman is searching for his lost head while running from the enemy. Beginning with the sound of forest insects, the irregular rhythms gradually turn into racing heartbeats. The descending motif is developed through contractions and expansions as if the scene is getting vague under the moonlight and trembling like the man's breathe. At the corner of the road, he falls into a marsh accidentally. When the soaked man scrambles ashore, the dazzling sunlight heaves in his sight. He looks back and sees his shadow and it dawned on him that ......
