AYO/Julie Schønherr Rosengreen has been playing and composing music since she was a child. With a background as a violinist, and as a classical musician, the ambient genre was later a place where she felt at home.
A place where she could express and unfold herself freely.
Julie is educated at the danish national academy of music, with a bachelor's degree in electronic music and sound art. Here she has honed her expression and developed her "voice" in order to be able to stand stronger with her message and vision.
The AYO project strives to send a message of a more harmonious cohesion with nature, with each other, with ourselves.
Julie has toured with her AYO project all over Europe since 2015, but has also played in countries such as Morocco and Nepal. You have been able to listen to her at events such as Freqs of Nature in Berlin, Anthropos Festival in London, Tivoli in Copenhagen and 7 Chakras Festival in Italy. In the summer of 2023, you will be able to experience AYO live at two of Europe's biggest festivals: Boom Festival in Portugal and Ozora Festival in Hungary.
