Stigmatized Stigmata

Trouble.
We've seen trouble.
And we've survived.
Survivors in this tumultuous ride
On the road to recovery, peace, serenity, and acceptance
We're trying to find.
Hijacked, bondaged, and dumped in the trunk of our own ride,
Our bodies and minds scarred for life.
As we voyage across the remainder of our lives
Stigmatized, blamed, denied.
For speaking up about our own plights,
Our woes are often cast aside,
Supplanted by questions and piercing eyes
These scars still tell a story, although they may heal with time.
We're often better off keeping silent, hiding.
But oh! Wouldn't you like to know
Where we've been all this time?
But no! Your curiosity does not entitle you access
To our damaged pride!
Trouble. 
We've seen trouble.
And we've survived.
Rubble.
Reduced to mere rubble.
Our Castles have seen days much brighter.
But look, first, through our eyes
Before you cast those stones laying around our feet in piles.
