Steinway artist, Chad Lawson, decided Chopin needed a new introduction.  Along with violinist Judy Kang (Lady Gaga, Ryuichi Sakamoto) and cellist Rubin Kodheli (Kanye West, Norah Jones), Lawson has arranged ten Chopin works into a minimalist landscape.

It's a risk editing the "poet of the piano" but one that Chopin would be proud of.  

Taking 10 Chopin works, Lawson decided to scale the works down to a minimalist setting.  "I knew even if bare-bones, Chopin's works could still be as spellbinding as the original compositions we are so familiar with." says the pianist.  

Produced by Chad Lawson & Alejandro Clavijo. Mixed by Stephen Lee Price.  Mastered by Michael Graves of Osiris Studios (Atlanta, GA).

The Bearded Man has often said that he couldn’t possibly fall in love with one woman — he’s in love with all of them. Unlike your garden variety bar-hopping d-bags, he actually means it, and it’s not just a cheesy pick-up line. That’s part of his universal appeal — he truly is a man of the people. At this point in his long, long, career, The Bearded Man knows it’s all about feeling good, whatever that might mean in any given moment. He’s never been one for remorse, and he’s never shied away from a risky situation. Still, would it kill you ladies, to give him a *little* breathing room *once* in a while?

We included some new beauties as well as some old favorites in this set, to gently bring up the kundalini energy with the right balance of novelty, familiarity & ~ of course ~ psychedelic frequencies. Here is a beautiful new tune which came into being quite spontaneously like a flash of noetic lightning in the wake of some beautifully serene experiences in Seattle and the Cascade mountains.

It was a lot of fun and a real honor to feature vocal contributions from my friends Theo and Amma (Entheo - https://soundcloud.com/entheo), as well as Theo's guitar and a few percussive samples from my friend Jules O'Keefe.

I haven't given out a new free track in a while, and I think this is a breakthrough and a new direction for me, so I am going out on a limb and allowing this tune to spread how it may, in good faith that it will touch as many lives as possible.
