As Ibiza comes to an end, what better way to celebrate than the new Phonetic Release ‘Copycat’ by Alex Lowen. Phonetic’s track record on the white island over the last 15 years is pretty special with 3 Ibiza No.1 Records/Track of the Summer and a plethora of quality music, that does the biz on the Islands Clubs and Bars.

Hailing from Monaco, Alex Lowen is laying down his unique sound, with his innovative and diverse take on electronic dance music. Alex began Dj’ing and producing at the tender age of just 17 and carved a reputation for himself in the local party scene. In 2013, Lowen was accepted into the Mecca of music schools – Berklee College of Music in Boston. It was here that Alex Lowen became a regular at GEM nightclub and soon discovered the direction his musical journal would lead towards.

This year at 3000 we are putting a lot more time and resources into building releases into larger scale projects, giving artists the opportunity to showcase a wider range of their musical
prowess. One of these EP’s specifically we present to you now as we introduce poolhaus, bringing his flavoursome sound to the table with two cracking compositions.

We begin with ‘Feel Ya Body’, a groovy little number packed with ascending bass riffs, uplifting harmonic progressions and tidy drum work. Along with this we have also been gifted ‘Brooklyn
Bullsh!t’, a progressively sound-scaped creation, transferring from widened introductory harmonies to catchy synth riffs come the very well structured breakdown. This is most certainly
a duo we look forward to hearing more of in the near future!
