With humble beginnings in Diplo’s Philadelphia studio, Mad Decent’s unwavering mission is to highlight underground, genre-blurring sounds. It's not pronounced Ocean by the way. In fact, its not pronounced at all o_O

Currently operating as a Techno DJ in a current capacity, previously I was a Grime MC and Producer. Transitioning into House from Garage and Grime in the mid 2000’s I’ve found myself influenced by lots of different artists and genres. Top influences from a production POV are Larry Heard, Ross From Friends, The Alchemist, Pharrell, Herbert, Just Blaze, Wookie, Davinche, Sticky and so many others.

Working towards introducing live production into my dj sets, I’ve mixed everything on everything from House to Lovers Rock and Jungle, I love all electronic music and produce it myself primarily on my Maschine MK3. Check out my tracks and mixes to see the evolution of my sound. I wanna say I like it hard and fast but really what I like more than anything is to make people happy with music they enjoy :)

2024 should be a good year. Crossing fingers for an initial release, it’s been a long time coming really, just happy to be sharing my music with the world officially now, stick around and hopefully you hear something you like.
