Female electronic DJ/producers alice.km and Molly Mouse have teamed up to drop their first collaborative single, “Lose Control.” The single follows alice.km’s recent EP release Bathed In Color, which showcased two tracks, “Champagne” and “Paint Me Green”, each of which feature an ethereal and dreamy approach to songwriting and sound design. The single also follows Molly Mouse’s recent remix release of “Rich Man” by Juliet Thurbz, which infuses classic house stylings with modern UK-club inspired vocals and drums. “Lose Control” blends the two artists’ signature sounds seamlessly, creating a soundscape that is simultaneously mysterious and uplifting, set to driving percussion.  

A strong drum beat starts off the track as a low rolling bass begins to set the mood of “Lose Control.” The production evolves as alice.km’s airy vocals draw the listener in. Piano chords and arpeggiated synths build into a magically captivating atmosphere, infusing just the right amount of personality into this journey through two artists’ shared vision.

For alice.km and Molly Mouse, this production was simply meant to be. Both have previously released singles on Lady of the House, and have been circling each other’s orbits online for a few years. “Lose Control” is the first release of their new joint label venture, Uplifting Ethereal. 

On top of pursuing a music career, alice.km is the co-founder of the immersive event production company Last Night's Makeup, creating unique nightlife events showcasing various styles of dance music while incorporating live cabaret performance elements such as burlesque, drag and go-go, etc. As well as DJing and producing, Molly Mouse has delved back into the world of promoting in 2025; with her first London headline show at Egg and a sold-out pop-up party at a local ice cream parlour.
