But more than any cosign, it’s Tsuruda’s bleeding edge sound design and neck-breaking funkiness that has inspired a legion of underground fans; it’s also earned him bragging rights as winner of the 2021 Goldie Awards, the beat competition (judged by A-Trak, Craze and Baauer) where these four Fool’s Gold tracks were born.
