Brassell is the bass music project of Rhode Island native Brandon Hassell.  His sound is a blend between the styles of lofi hip hop and underground bass.  As a professional Dj for 2 years, Brandon naturally became attracted to the idea of producing music.  In 2018 he started as a producer in the providence hip hop scene.  His love for bass music and the community started back in 2011, but in 2020 he decided to make the switch to producing the genre that he favored most.  Brandon plans on continuing to develop his sound and help contribute to the growth of the scene.
